The role of the membership officer is to keep a watch over the membership, seeking to achieve a full enrolment of 100 while maintaining a gender balance within the limits of 60:40.
This officer receives applications for admission, refers them to the committee for considering, procures membership badges, manages awards for those reaching 80 and 90 years of age, keeps a record of attendance at meetings.
The Membership Officer maintains the Clubs Membership Register and is an active member of the Management Committee
